Password Reset and Not starting at the correct time |

Hi
I have been using SIP for a long time now and I've had little or no issues with it. Some time ago I noticed the the stations were not turning on at the 21:00 start time. The system still work it turns on sometime after 21:00 and runs the stations. They run for about 3 hours after they are meant to turn off (into peak power usage). So I set about trying to fix the issue but somehow the SIP password has been changed and I now cannot login.
I'm hoping that the timing thing is just a PI date time config but I cannot test that until I can log into SIP
Any help would be appreciated
Paul

Hi, Just posting in this forum in case someone might have any ideas (I previously posted in PLUGINS):
I cannot get my I2C 1602 LCD to work. When I attach it to my Pi, it lights up. but nothing else.
1. Yes I have the LCD plugin enabled and the address entered.
2. I have tested this Pi with this LCD outside of SIP and it works just great.
3. I have noticed that when I look at the LCD Plugin, the status always says , "Off". Is it supposed to ever say something else?
Thanks for any help.

Cannot get I2C LCD to work |

Hi All,
I can't seem to get the LCD to work. It works fine outside of SIP, when just using LCD python test code. But inside SIP the LED Backlight blinks twice very quickly and there is no info on the screen.
Does anyone have any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?
P.S. I see some notes in the plugin about using pylcd2.py, but that is not in the SIP folders.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Guys,
Phew what a fun night this was. But got my setup going and almost perfect.
I just have 2 issues . One minor I can work around but would like to know how to fix it and the other more of an issue...
General Info:
- Raspberry Pi 1 B+
- Arduino Relay Board 16Ch power with a separate 12V 3A PSU
- Latest Software Installed (OS Raspbian and SIP latest version: 3.2.40)
- Relay Board Plugin installed and enabled
1. Master not switching off in Manual mode:
I have Master Pump setup on station 1. When running a program, the master switches off after the last station configured completes. However, when running manual mode, if I switch on a station configured to use master, it switches on the master, but when switching off the station manually (No stations active), the master does not switch OFF. This is a big problem for me as master is my borehole pump and with all stations closed and the pump running things could get nasty.
2. Only first 8 Channels switches.
This one is weird... All 16 relays on the board works. if I connect the Pi GPIO's to Relay 8 - 16 on my board they work. if I connect them to relay 1-8 they work. But, whatever i connect to channel 9 - 12 does not switch. This is true for Program, run once as well as manual modes. The strange thing is... If I set station 9 to 12 to activate master, then the master relay is activated when the program reaches those stations, but relays 9 - 12 is not activated.
I have attached screenshots of my setup as it is now..
Thank you again for a great product. Holding thumbs that its something stupid I did and that this can be sorted easily... I am just out of options. I have tried everything - Including rewiring the boards twice but cannot seem to get relays greater than 8 to work.

Hi All, As the title suggests. I'd Like to know What Model Pi's are supported?
Can this be used with the Pi 1 B+?
I searched but did not find any info in this regards. My Apologies if I missed it.
Also, Thank for this Project. I just started with this, got my relay board today and will be playing with the install tonight.
Greetings from South Africa
/Bert

2. I have 4 relay is connected to raspberry pi. But when I switch off or on any staton only station 3 is responding. I have checked all the other settings. I am not able to figure what the problem is actually. I have installed the relay board plugin and enabled it too. Can you help me with my problem?

Pressure plugins |

What is this pressure monitor plugin? It shows (Pressure sensor is connected between GPIO pin 22 and ground).
But we are not connecting pressure sensor directly to raspberry pi as shown by pump control plugin. We are connecting pressure sensor to arduino and arduino is connected to raspberry pi. Can you clear my doubt regarding this?
I am getting confused between pump control and pressure monitor plugin. Since pressure sensor monitor plugin is showing pressure sensor is connected between GPIO 22 and ground where exactly we need to connect pressure sensor?
And is pump control plugin ready for use?
