SIP and TIAO Smart Sprinkler Pi

Hi all,

After reading http://dan-in-ca.github.io/SIP/ I purchased a TIAO Smart Sprinkler Pi and have connected it all and setup SIP (several times). I've installed the relay_board plugin.

Station 1 works fine!

As soon as I connect any more stations Station 2 opens whenever Station 1 is switched on while none of the other stations work whatsoever.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong?

I've installed the relay_board plugin.

Turns out that you need the Relay Plugin if you are using a normal relay (like I was to begin with until the TIAO board arrived).

If you are using the TIAO board you do *NOT* need anything else installed. It just works!

Hi Tim,

Good to hear that things are working properly.

On thing that may not be immediately obvious is that you can have SIP control all 16 stations on the board.
Just go to Options > Station Handling and change the number of expansion boards from 0 to 1. Each "expansion board" increases the number of stations that SIP knows about by 8.
