New setup with relay_board plugin
#1
im having issues with the relay_board plugin.

the config is setup as ACTIVE LOW with 12 relays

every relay is constant LOW meaning active and i cannot get them to activate or change.

if i change the number of relays in the plug setting and restart SIP the active relays will change to the number set in config.  ie if i set it as 1 the number 1 relay goes active if 12 the first 12 on the board go on.

the setup is a PI 3 and 16 channel relay board with its own external power.

What happens if you set the relay_board config to active High?

Same makes no difference.  The board is active low and trips correctly when jumped to ground.

When you say jumpered to ground do you mean adding a jumper wire from ground on the relay board to ground on the Pi?

Is it then working correctly?

Just verifying that the board correctly activates the relay when the driver pin is grounded

I just received a Pi 3 and verified that the relay_board plugin works with it.
I don't have a 16 channel relay board to test with so I am not able to reproduce the problem you are having.

I'm guessing you have double checked the wiring.
