Master keeps resetting to standard station

It has something to do with the latest version of the web user interface and only effects the master setting.
when the master setting is cleared the activated stations are also cleared.

I found the problem but it took a while to find a fix. 
Interestingly, the information source that helped the most was Google's new generative AI feature.

The fixed revision (version: 5.1.81 (2024-12-04)) has been posted to GitHub.
