Upgrading from 2.0.3 - jbirdlebough@msn.com - 2016 May 02

I have an early OSPi on 2.0.3, has problems with clock drift, remembering correct time zone, frequently shows via putty that its local system time is year 2000, and trouble displaying true status.

Would like to upgrade but its unclear new code will run original board.

Will that work?

Thanks

The new version should work with the older board but it may not help the date problem.

Do you have a reliable internet connection to the Pi? That is where the system usually gets it time-date from.
