Filter flushing based on differential pressure - sathish - 2018 Apr 24

Halo Dan,
Is it possible to add a feature to the system (plugin or other wise), where in the SIP would measure differential pressure between a filter inlet pressure Vs outlet pressure. Then start a back flush sequence of the filter based on;
  1. a pre-set pressure difference   (or)
  2. pre-set time duration of the system run  (or)
  3. every time the SIP starts.

I will need to give this some thought.

To base the back flush on pressure a difference you would need at least 2 pressure sensors. That would also require a plugin to handle reading the sensors.

You may be able to program SIP to do a back flush on a pre-set time duration or on start-up depending on your valve configuration. For example open a valve to run the back flush as the first station. Then run your other stations.
